Sherry Lynn (Clark) Jones, 65, of Haverhill, passed peacefully Friday morning, Dec. 23, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 38 years of the late Walter “Scott” Jones, Jr., who died June 8, 2007.
Born in Amesbury, April 24, 1951, she was one of three children of the late James R. and Sylvia M. (Coombs) Clark and was a graduate of Pentucket Regional High School.
She leaves her two sons and two daughters, Jeffrey Jones and wife Florence of Haverhill, Timothy Jones and wife Melissa of Derry, N.H., April (Jones) Collins and husband Jeff, and Julie (Jones) Francisco and husband David of Plaistow, N.H.; 13 grandchildren, Jonathan, Caitlin, Timothy, Madison, Justin, Tristan, Christopher, Jacob, Emma, Brandon, Alyssa, Mason and Gavin; great-grandson, Grayson; sister, Donna L. Day and husband James; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Lorin J. Clark.
Visiting hours are Friday, Dec. 30, from 11 a.m.. to 12:45 p.m. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main St., Merrimac, followed by services at the funeral home at 1 p.m., and then burial in Locust Grove Cemetery, Merrimac.
