Two Face Repeat Drunken Driving Charges After Saturday Arrests

Two Haverhill motorists face separate drunken driving charges from Haverhill police after separate incidents Saturday.

Lazaro Romero, 32, of 119 High St., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 9:35 p.m. at 352 Washington St. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (second offense), driving with a revoked license, leaving the scene of property damage and alcohol from an open container.

Jennifer Graciale, 38, of 15 Saint Botolph St., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 2:55 a.m. at 795 River St. She was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (second offense), driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and resisting arrest.

Both are scheduled to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news:

Two people face assault charges in court in connection with separate arrests over the weekend.

John Hoffart, 23, of 15 Taft Ave., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 12:40 a.m. at home and charged with assault and disturbing the peace.

Fritzlaine Liautaud, 33, of Methuen, was arrested Friday, at 11:27 p.m., at 19 Railroad Ave. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Jose Dejesus, 32, 27 Vine St., Haverhill, related to assault with a dangerous weapon and failure to register as a sex offender, 27 Vine St., 9:21 a.m.

Maximilian Paulino, 22, 37 Pilling St., Haverhill, related to disorderly conduct and driving under the influence of liquor, 33 Pilling St., 8:41 p.m.

Friday

Samuel Perez, 49, 45 Locust St., Haverhill, related to destruction of property and threat to commit a crime, 40 Bailey Boulevard, 9:46 a.m.

Lynette Puello, 44, 16 Golden St., Haverhill, related to driving without a license, 30 Golden St., 5:13 p.m.
