Camaro Club Supports Merrimack Valley Hospice with Donation

Attending the check presentation ceremony were, back row, John Albert, president and CEO, Home Health Foundation; East Coast Camaro Club members Rueben Cortez of Nashua, N.H., Bill Douglas of Chelmsford, Rick Brown of Chelmsford, Laurie Montgomery-College of Chelmsford, Dan Wolfe of Groton, and Donna Deveau, vice president of External Relations and Development, Home Health Foundation; and, front, Carol Douglas of Chelmsford.

The East Coast Camaro Club recently donated $5,500 to Merrimack Valley Hospice—proceeds from its 35th Annual All-Vehicle Car Show last August.

The donation helps the nonprofit provide care to patients and families as they confront the challenges of advanced illness and end of life at home or at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.

“We are honored to be able to make a contribution in support of Merrimack Valley Hospice and the dedicated staff who care for patients and families at such a crucial time,” said Rueben Cortez, East Coast Camaro Club treasurer.

“We are thankful for the generosity of ECCC and to all who attended the East Coast Camaro Club’s annual car show,” said John Albert, president and CEO of Home Health Foundation, which includes Merrimack Valley Hospice, Home Health VNA and HomeCare. “This is a longstanding event that benefits patients and families who rely on us for care and support.”
