Merrimack Valley Prevention and Substance Abuse Project members plan to discuss rising drug-related death toll and goals for the year at its general membership in January.

The group meets Thursday, Jan. 19, 6:30 p.m., at North Andover Senior Center, 120 Main St., Rear, North Andover.

“We are losing a generation of young adults. MVPASAP will strive to get treatment for all who need it but the solution is prevention, education and awareness,” a spokesman said.
