Police: Suspect Caught at Shopping Center Planned to Sell Drugs

Police say a Haverhill man arrested in a shopping center parking lot planned to sell drugs.

Haverhill police charged Michael Connors, 26, of 33 Broadway,with drug possession and intent to distribute. Connors was arrested Wednesday at 8:22 p.m. at Westgate Plaza, just yards from the exit ramp to Interstate 495.

In an unrelated narcotics investigation, Drew Everett, 28, of 70 Brook St., Haverhill, was arrested at 6:09 p.m., at home, and charged with possession of a class B drug.

Both are scheduled to appear in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news:

Gary Epling, 24, of Amesbury, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. at 64 Kenoza Ave. and charged with open and gross lewdness.

Dwain Day, 56, of 16 Eighth Ave., Haverhill, was arrested Wednesday at 10:31 a.m., at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard, on a warrant related to larceny from a person and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
