A rollover accident on Interstate 495 sent traffic through snow-covered streets in city neighborhoods this morning.
A tractor-trailer truck entered the left median north of Exit 50, rolled on its side and went down an embankment, state police reported to WHAV this morning. The accident occurred sometime before 9 a.m.
Northbound traffic on Route 495 was detoured from the highway at Exit 49 River Street, through local roads to Broadway and the Route 495 on-ramp to the northbound lanes.
