Jeannette E. (Cote) Michaud, 94, Retired From Merrimack College

jeannette_michaudJeannette E. (Cote) Michaud, 94, a longtime resident of Haverhill, died Nov. 28, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Berlin, N.H., daughter of the late Joseph and Florida (Lambert) Cote, she attended St. Regis Academy and moved to Haverhill with her family in 1941. She worked first as a machinist at the former Rex Potato Chip Company, later for several years at Raytheon Company and finally in the housekeeping department of Merrimack College, North Andover, from where she retired in 1987.

A longtime member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish, she was predeceased by her husband Victor D. Michaud in 1999.
She was also predeceased by a brother George F. Cote and sisters, Irene Cote, Alice Menard and Bertha LaFleur. She leaves a sister, Rita Bilodeau of Washington, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invite to call Friday morning, Dec. 2, from 9 to 10:30, at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m., in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill with burial immediately following in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
