Ina M. (Zatulove) Segal, 71, Reading Third Grade Teacher

ina_segalIna M. (Zatulove) Segal, 71, of Bradford, passed away Saturday after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Newark, N.J., March 9, 1945, daughter of the late Robert Paul Zatulove and Lenore (Cohen) Zatulove. She graduated from Pascack Valley Regional High School, Hillsdale, N.J., in 1963, and from Lesley College in 1967. She enjoyed a career in education, teaching third graders for more than 35 years in the Reading School District until her retirement in 2006. She loved shopping, enjoyed concerts and theater with her husband, a good dinner out and just spending time with her extended family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years Larry A. Segal; son Jeremy E. Segal and his wife Cori of Andover; two grandchildren, Carly and Adam Segal; and her brother Richard A. Zatulove.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Rond. Andover. Burial follows at the Children of Israel Cemetery, 324 Middle Road, Haverhill. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford. The Shiva period will be held immediately following the interment until 8 p.m., and then again on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., pm at the residence of her son in Andover.
