A Haverhill man faces burglary charges stemming from an investigation Saturday afternoon.
Haverhill police arrested Jose Hernandez-Alvarado, 37, of 3 Chick Ave., at 1:33 p.m. at 451 Washington St. He was charged with felony breaking and entering in the daytime, possession of a burglarious tool and destruction of property. He also had an outstanding warrant related to failure to attend jury duty.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

Michelle Torres, 25, of 2 Northwood Terrace, was arrested Saturday, at 2:15 a.m., at 0 S. Elm St. and charged with driving under the influence of liquor, negligent operation and a vehicle lights violation.
