William E. Janvier, 57, Worked for Essex Gas, National Grid

william_janvierWilliam E. Janvier, 57, of Haverhill, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 18, at his residence.

He was born in Methuen, May 24, 1959, son of Russell J. Janvier of Bradford and the late Virginia H. (Gagnon) Janvier. He graduated from Haverhill High School in 1977, and joined the Air Force soon thereafter. Upon his discharge from the military, he moved back to Haverhill with his family. He began working at Essex County Gas Company, now National Grid, where he has been a valued employee for more than 30 years. Janvier enjoyed playing hockey, skiing, attending concerts and taking long rides on his motorcycle, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, William is survived by his three children William C. Janvier of Tacoma, Wash., Amy A. and her husband Philip Nazzaro of Haverhill and Adam P. Janvier and his wife Lisa of Wilmington, Vt.; brothers Joseph G. Janvier of Haverhill and Stephen R. Janvier of La.; sister Mary V. and her husband Lauren Schook of Starrucca, Penn.; three grandchildren Claire N. Janvier, Mia D. and Bennett R. Nazzaro; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (route 125), Bradford. His funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m., at Rock Church, 90 Newton Road, Plaistow, N.H. Burial will be private.
