Angel L. Pellot, 76, Worked for Schools, Honeywell Supervisor

angel_pellotAngel L. Pellot, 76, of Haverhill, known as “Pops,” husband of Ramona (Segarra) Pellot, passed away Nov. 18, at Merrimack Valley Hospice, Haverhill, surrounded by his family.

Born in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Jorge and Angela (Ramirez) Pellot. After moving to New York City from Puerto Rico, he lived in New Jersey before moving with his wife Ramona and family to Haverhill in 1968. He and Ramona would have celebrated 57 years of marriage Dec. 12. Pellot was a supervisor for Honeywell until 1985. He was then employed in the Haverhill Public School system as chief custodian. Even after his retirement in April of this year, he still worked part time at various city school. Pellot enjoyed a time share in Coco Beach, Fla., and traveled there yearly with his wife. He also spent weekends in the summer in North Conway, N.H.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Angel L. Pellot of Tampa, Fla., Victor M. Pellot of Haverhill, Edward Pellot and his wife Maureen of Haverhill, and Michael S. Pellot of Haverhill; sisters, Felicita Pellot and Carmen Santiago, both of Haverhill; eight grandchildren, Krystle Silva, Vanessa Pellot, Erika Pellot, Jessica Pellot, Victor M. Pellot Jr., Kayla Nice, Kayla Pellot and Michael S. Pellot Jr.; three great grandchildren, Adrianna, Kellan and Lennix; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Laura Negron.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Monday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services  begin Tuesday, 9 a.m., in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m., at All Saints Parish Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill.
