Margaret J. (Passas) Foley, 90, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Thursday morning, Nov. 10, at the Wingate of Haverhill.
Foley was born in Haverhill, Feb. 27, 1926, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Murphy) Passas. She was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from St. James High School with the class of 1944. Foley married the love of her life, Daniel F. Foley, in 1949. She enjoyed family and social gatherings, visiting area flea markets and yard sales and playing Bingo with her friends.
Foley was predeceased by her husband Daniel Foley, who passed away in 1999; a sister, Virginia Decoteau; a daughter, Mary Foley who passed away in 2003; as well as two sons-in-law, Christiano Lima and Bernard Muir. She is survived by her children, Patricia Lima of Rhode Island, Kathleen Muir of Haverhill and Daniel Foley Jr. of Haverhill; niece, Mary Absi of Bellingham; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Monday, Nov. 14, from noon to 1, at H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow at 1:15 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment follows in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Contributions in her memory may be made to Brook Haven Hospice, CHA Foundation 500 Faulconer Drive, Suite 200 Charlottesville, VA 22903 and/or to the Wingate at Haverhill, 190 North Ave., Haverhill.
