Keith R. “Bob” Wilson, 74, Former Haverhill Constable Dog Officer

keith_wilsonKeith R. “Bob” Wilson, 74, of Newburyport and formerly of Haverhill, passed away Nov. 10, at Merrimack Valley Hospice, Haverhill, surrounded by his family.

Born in Ipswich, he was the son of the late Ralph and Blanche Wilson. He was a graduate of Waltham High School, class of 1960. Wilson was a consummate handyman, knowing carpentry and plumbing. He loved to help people in any way he could. He was employed as a plumber in sanitary engineering and was the constable dog officer for the City of Haverhill. He lived in Haverhill for many years before moving to Newburyport three years ago.

He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Toni B. (Morse) of Newburyport; children, Patrick C. Bourgelais Jr. of Derry, N.H.; David J. Wilson of Haverhill; Lynne M. Barber and her husband Michael of Forestville, Calif.; brother, Kenneth Wilson of Newburyport; sister Blanche Rath of Ipswich; grandchildren Daniel Bourgelais, Jarrod Barber, Katrina Wilson and John Barber II; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Ralph Wilson Jr., Craig Wilson, Henry Wilson, Lee Wilson, Cabot Wilson and Joan Bailey and a grandchild, Ashley Morse.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Monday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill
