Dorothy C. (McGovern) Bushek, 69, Died After Auto Accident

dorothy_bushekDorothy C. (McGovern) Bushek, 69, of Atkinson, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, dies Nov. 1,  from injuries sustained in a car accident in Salem, N.H.

She wife of David Bushek and born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Charles E. and Dorothy R. (Daley) McGovern. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1965. She was employed at the Women’s View in Lawrence as a drug and alcohol counselor. She was an advocate for the down trodden including all animals.

In addition to her husband David, she is survived by her children, Anthony R. Rizzotti and his wife Susan (Potvin) of Newton, N.H., Michael Rizzotti and his wife Christine of Fremont, N.H., Charles Rizzotti and his wife Jennifer of Florida, and Keriann Rizzotti of Plaistow, N.H.; 12 grandchildren, Joshua, Jared, Marissa, Alanna, Carena and Hayley Rizzotti, Jarret Martin, Mackenzie O’Toole; Andrew Rizzotti, Jessica Ferguson and Haley Ferguson; four great grandchildren, Aiden, Tucker, and Madison Rizzotti; Kian McKenna; nephew, Steven Allen, of Haverhill; and nieces, Carla Paquette, of Haverhill, and Kelly Peters, of Newton, N.H. She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Allen.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours Friday, Nov. 11. from 5 to 8 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
