‘Run to Overcome’ Takes Place Sunday, Benefits St. James School

A 5K walk and road race, “Run To Overcome,” benefiting Haverhill Alternative School and the TEACH program at St. James School, takes place Sunday.

The road race is the largest fundraiser for the school, and draws serious runners from area running clubs. Because it takes place close to Veterans Day, which is Nov. 11, participants and spectators are encouraged to dress in red, white and blue or other patriotic apparel.

Runners will gather Sunday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m., at St. James School, 415 Primrose St. The course for the event starts and ends at the school.

Registration is available online at running4free.com, or Sunday before the run at St. James.
