The leaves may be falling, but the flowers will be blooming Thursday night during as supporters of a plan to convert the former Cogswell School into an art center gather for a demonstration of making autumn floral arrangements.
During “Artful Flowers By Flowers By Steve,” proprietor Steve Janavicus leads guests through the art of assembling floral arrangements with end results becoming raffle prizes. Light pastries, and coffee will be served.
The fundraiser takes place Thursday, Nov. 3, 7 p.m., at Flowers By Steve, 14 Cross Road, Ward Hill. All proceeds will go to the Cogswell Artspace, a Creative Haverhill initiative to purchase, renovate and open an art center at the historic Cogswell School, 351 South Main St., Haverhill.
