Shirley Anne (Brown) Hall, 76, Worked at Lucent More Than 30 Years

shirley_hallShirley Anne (Brown) Hall, 76, of Haverhill, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

She was born in Haverhill Sept. 2, 1940, daughter of the late Worthen and Gladys (Daggett) Brown. She was educated in the Haverhill school system, graduating from Haverhill High School with the class of 1958. She was a materials management specialist at Lucent Technologies, where she was employed for more than 30 years.

Her survivors include her husband of 48 years, Frederick R. Hall of Haverhill; sons Russell W. and his wife Jennifer of Ludlow, and Edward D. and his wife Megan of Swampscott; grandchildren Piper, William & Emma; sister Carole J. Brown of Methuen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Monday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment follows in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
