Michael J. Sullivan, 62, of Haverhill, passed away suddenly Oct. 16.
Born in Haverhill Oct. 14, 1954, he was the son of the late James and Evelyn (Green) Sullivan. He was educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill Trade School before enrolling in tractor trailer school where he earned his commercial driver’s license. He then began a 35-year career as a truck driver, and for 10 years maintained his own equipment before driving for various companies to include Transgas of Lowell. He enjoyed the company of his friends while following the NASCAR circuit and traveling to Foxwoods.
He leaves his sister, Leslie A. Brown and husband Allan of Haverhill; brothers, Gary Sullivan and Timothy Sullivan of Haverhill; nieces and nephews, Paul J. Paquette and his wife Jessica, Timothy Sullivan, Tanya King, Tiffany Sullivan; great nieces and nephews, Ava Jane Paquette, Luke Paquette and Timothy Sullivan III.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Friday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m., to be followed by a memorial service at 8 p.m., at Dole, Childs and Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill. Interment, at a later date, at Greenwood Cemetery.
