In observance of Fire Prevention Week, the Haverhill Fire Department will have an open house Tuesday night at its Water Street headquarters.
“Sparky” the fire dog will make an appearance at the family event and guide a discussion of fire safety with fun exercises and pizza provided by Papa Gino’s.
It takes place Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Water Street Station, 131 Water St., Haverhill.
