A Haverhill man, arrested by Haverhill police Wednesday as a fugitive from justice, is due to appear in Haverhill District Court.
Marco Salerno, 38, of 2 Ridge Road, Haverhill, was taken into police custody Wednesday at 5:36 p.m., at 14 South Warren St. He also was arrested on warrants related to two counts of larceny by check, driving under the influence of drugs, negligent operation, state highway traffic violations, failure to identify and possession of a class B drug.

Peter Posey, 25, of Danville, N.H., was arrested Wednesday at 10:55 p.m., on Cedar Street, Haverhill. He was charged with possession of a class B drug.
