Plans for Asperger Works’ second annual fundraising dinner later this month were outlined during Monday night’s Open Mike Show.
M. Eva Rajczyk, an Asperger Works officer and director, and Lisa S. Rajczyk, the organization’s volunteer coordinator, discussed the agency’s “Dinner of Hope” to take place Saturday, Oct. 22, beginning at 6 p.m. with registrations and cocktail hour, at Maria’s Galleria Banquet Room, 81 Essex St., Haverhill.
“Our goal is to fulfill the hopes of adults with Asperger’s Syndrome to become gainfully employed in meaningful jobs through educating employers and providing job coaching to our clients,” said Eva Rajczyk.
Congresswoman Niki Tsongas delivers the keynote address during the event, which will also honor Andover state Sen. Barbara L’Italien, Northeast Independent Living Program and Dusya Lyubovskaya. Northeast Independent Living Program recently welcomed Asperger Works’ to share its Lawrence office space.
