Police Seek Food Donations During ‘Stuff a Cruiser’ Day

The Haverhill Police Department, working with local Market Basket stores, will hold its first annual “Stuff a Cruiser” day, to benefit local food pantries for the upcoming holiday season, Saturday, Oct. 22, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations, including canned and dry foods, frozen turkeys and chickens, will be accepted at Haverhill Market Basket locations in Westgate Plaza, Central Plaza and River’s Edge Plaza, according to police. Monetary donations will not be accepted.

A full wish list includes canned fruits, vegetables, soups, ham, cranberry sauce, potatoes, yams and baked beans; frozen turkeys and chickens; and coffee, tea, peanut butter, jams, boxed stuffing mix, pasta, pasta sauce, cereals and paper goods.
