Two Face Haverhill Drug Dealing Charges After Arrests

A Haverhill man is among two people facing unrelated drug dealing charges in Haverhill District Court, following separate arrests Tuesday by Haverhill police.

Reyman Ortiz Jr., 23, of 7 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill detectives Tuesday at 11:26 a.m., at home. He was charged with possession of a class B drug, drug possession with intent to distribute and drug violation near a school zone. He also had outstanding warrants related to drug possession with intent to distribute, carrying a firearm without a license, unlicensed possession of ammunition, receiving stolen property, misdemeanor breaking and entering and trespassing.

In a separate investigation, Christie Sanchez, 38, of Exeter, N.H., was arrested at 6:18 p.m., at 753 Main St., Haverhill. She was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and driving without a license. She also had an outstanding warrant related to driving without a license, failure to identify and a municipal ordinance violation.

In other police news:

Nicole Aheron, 44, of North Andover, was arrested Tuesday, 12:49 p.m., on Interstate 495 northbound. She was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and driving without a license.

Ricardo Angel, 34, of 26 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested at 9:35 p.m., at home, on a charge of assault and battery.

Chad Foberg, 45, of Danvers, was arrested Tuesday at 5:27 p.m. on Main Street, Haverhill. He was charged with defacing property and disorderly conduct.

Joseph Smith, 34, of Plaistow, N.H., was arrested at 6:40 p.m., at 45 Ginty Boulevard, on a warrant related to possession of a class A drug.
