A Halloween party to benefit less fortunate Haverhill children at Christmas takes place Saturday, Oct. 8

An annual fundraiser to benefit Ozzie’s Kids, the Halloween event features a parade of children in costume, visits by Mickey Mouse and Santa Claus, music, entertainment, raffles and food. Prizes will be awarded to the top three costume winners.

The party begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 2:30 p.m., at Salvation Army, 395 Main St., Haverhill. Parade entry is $3 and food ranges from 50 cents to $3.

Ozzie’s Kids is also accepting gift card donations for raffles, food and supplies.
