A Newton woman, arrested by Haverhill police Thursday night on drunken driving charges, is scheduled to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
Jessica Sylvester, 35, of Newton, was arrested Thursday, 8:54 p.m., at 1030 Main St., Haverhill. She was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (second offense), negligent operation, alcohol from an open container, driving with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation.
In other police news, Ishemy Santiago, 23, of 58 Central St., Haverhill, was arrested Thursday, 4:16 p.m., at home on a charge of assault and battery. He also had an outstanding warrant related to assault and battery.
Gregg Costa, 42, listed as homeless and a last known address of 127 How St., Haverhill, was arrested on a warrant related to larceny over $250, at 11:04 a.m., at 1 Wall St.
