A summer sport will help support this winter’s Santa Parade.
The Second Annual VFW Santa Parade Golf Tournament takes place Friday, Oct. 7, with a noon shotgun start at the Bradford Country Club.
Players are asked to donate $100 each to participate in an 18 hole four-person scramble format, which includes greens fee and a cart, as well as a steak and chicken dinner and awards ceremony after the tournament.
Hole sponsors at $100 per hole and prize sponsors are also being sought. Proceeds from the tournament will be used to help pay for the 52nd Annual VFW Santa Parade Nov. 20. For information, contact Tim Comeau at Bradford Country Club at 978 372-8587.
