Ocasio’s True Martial Arts of Haverhill is bringing out its “Turkey Brigade” again this year, planning to distribute more than 500 full turkey dinners in time for Thanksgiving.
Ocasio’s is seeking donations for its raffle baskets and new Fundraising Calendar (gift cards, gift basket items, etc.) from local businesses. Sponsorships, cash donations and food for Thanksgiving meals are sought.
“Last year we successfully distributed 502 full turkey dinners in the Greater Haverhill and Southern New Hampshire areas. Over the past 22 years our students, families, friends and sponsors have fed over 8,516 families! We could not do this without donations and sponsors and we are so grateful,” a statement said.
