League of Women Voters of Greater Haverhill is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.
The League of Women Voters of Greater Haverhill is having its Third Founders’ Scholarship Fundraiser at the end of the month.
There will be food, beverages, music, dancing and raffle prizes at the event, which takes place Friday, Sept. 30, from 6 to 10 p.m., at Winnekenni Castle, 347 Kenoza Ave.. Proceeds benefit LWVMA Citizens Education Fund.
Those making baskets or donating raffle items are asked to bring them to the league’s board meeting Wed., Sept. 14, at the Roma restaurant.
