Raymond R. Charoux, 79, Carpenter, Skilled Cabinet Maker

Raymond_CharouxRaymond R. Charoux, 79, of Haverhill, husband of the late Lorna G. (Bonnell) Charoux, passed away Sept. 2, at Merrimack Valley Hospice, Haverhill, surrounded by his family.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Remi and Hazel G. (Brunelle) Charoux. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1955. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was employed as a carpenter and was a skilled cabinet maker. Charoux enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing darts, horseshoes, cards and washer toss. He loved spending time at the beach. His most treasured moments were spending time with his family, especially his grandson and great grandson.

Surviving him are his children, Tia C. Parrino-Chartier of Haverhill, Lisa Rocker of Lynn and Tina Charoux of Woburn; sister, Barbara Hansen of Merrimac; sister in law, Gloria Stanwyck, of Kingston, N.H.; grandson, Raymond K. Maloney of Plaistow, N.H.; great grandson Mason R. Maloney; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lorna G. (Bonnell) Charoux, his sister, Lorraine Teal, and brothers Francis, Everett, Robert and Edward Charoux.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Tuesday, Sept. 6. from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main S., Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 7. Burial is private.
