Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, will host a free seminar, “Diagnosis, Prevention and Treatment of Colorectal Cancer,” Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Surgeon Romie Mundy will discuss “how to prevent colorectal cancer; the benefits of colonoscopy and early detection; the best treatment options if colorectal cancer is diagnosed; how colorectal cancer is staged; the impact of clinical staging on treatment options; and indications and results for surgical approaches to treatment,” according to a statement.

The seminar will be held 6 to 7 p.m. in the ground-floor auditorium at the hospital, 70 East St., Methuen. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
