Community Action’s Adult Learning Center is offering an “English for Work” program for intermediate and advanced level English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) students.
The free program will be offered for 12 weeks, from Sept. 26, to Dec. 22, on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, from 6 to 9 p.m., at 3 Washington Square, third floor.
English for Work offers ESOL students the opportunity to:
- Improve English, reading and writing skills
- Improve communication at work
- Create a job-winning resume
- Explore career interests
- Prepare for college or job training
- Develop strategies for meeting personal goals
Registration takes place Sept. 13 and 15, 6 p.m., at 3 Washington Square, third floor.
