Haverhill Police Arrest Three on Drug Possession Charges

Three New Hampshire residents were arrested by Haverhill police early Sunday on drug possession charges.

Jeffrey Tenney, 27, of Manchester; Dennis Vaughan, 60, of Laconia; and Constance Lowell, 43, of Bristol, were arrested between 12:02 and 12:37 a.m., at 35 Plaistow Road. Each was charged with possession of a class A drug. Tenney also had outstanding warrants related to possession of a class A drug, being present where heroin is kept, conspiracy to violate drug laws and driving with a suspended license. Lowell also had an outstanding warrant related to possession of a class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

All three are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news:

Efrain Gonzalez, 20, of 123 Cogswell St., Haverhill, was arrested Sunday, 1:29 a.m., on Dartmouth Street. He was charged with breaking and entering larceny from a motor vehicle, carrying a dangerous weapon, unlicensed possession of ammunition and underage possession of liquor.

Shawn Defeo, 48, of 642 Washington St., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday, 10:11 a.m., at Westgate shopping plaza, 400 Lowell Ave., on a shoplifting charge. In addition, he was charged as being a fugitive from justice.

Katelyn Zangari, 25, 4 Marion St., Haverhill, was arrested Sunday, 5:06 p.m., at 4 Marion St., on a warrant related to armed assault with intent to rob, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery.

Jesse Masterjohn, 40, 278 Warren St., Brookline, was arrested Saturday, 12:34 p.m., at 155 Elliott St., and charged with using a disguise to obstruct justice.
