Police Arrest 24-Year-Old Haverhill Man on Drug, Other Charges

A Haverhill man, arrested by Haverhill police Thursday night on drug and vandalism charges, among others, is due to appear in Haverhill District Court.

Uriel Fernandez, 24, of 194 Hilldale Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. on Brook Street. He was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He also had outstanding warrants related to distribution of a class D drug, drug possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

In other police news:

Trevor Ahearn, 26, of 57 Washington St., Haverhill, was arrested Thursday, at 9:48 p.m., at 109 Lafayette Square. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and a number plate violation. He also had an outstanding warrant related to driving with a suspended registration and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Esau Stanley, 26, 88 Hilton Ave., Atkinson, N.H., was arrested Thursday, 10:44 p.m., at 297 Boardman St., on warrants related to possession of heroin, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license and a marked lanes violation.
