Two Haverhill men, accused of rape Aug. 12 at Riverside Park, remain held without bail.
At a dangerousness hearing Tuesday in Haverhill District Court, a judge found Manuel Agualemea-Guasco, 41 and Juan Cela-Tacuri, 19, “dangerous,” Carrie Kimball-Monahan, spokesperson for Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett, told WHAV. The men, both of 50 White St., Haverhill, have been held since their arrest Fri, Aug. 12, after Haverhill police, on patrol, discovered an unidentified woman, with a partly-torn shirt and screaming, running out from woods at the park, behind Trinity Stadium. Each suspect was charged with one count of aggravated rape.
“The two men were found dangerous and held without bail. The case is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Sept. 21 in Haverhill District Court,” Kimball-Monahan said. As WHAV first reported last week, the possibility of indictments from an Essex County grand jury remains.
“Given the serious nature of the charges, it is likely we will present this case to the grand jury,” Kimball-Monahan added. Meanwhile, she could not verify, at WHAV’s request, media reports the suspects also face detainers or other action by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since their arrests. She deferred to ICE for further comment.
According to a police report, the woman told police she was taken to the park in a Honda minivan after asking to be taken home. She was allegedly pulled from the vehicle by the two men, punched and sexually assaulted as she resisted. She broke away as headlights were seen from the approaching cruiser. She also reported meeting the suspects earlier at a White Street convenience store.

The thing that bothers me is that ICE says they will “try” to deport them. Try????? Their sorry kiesters should be on the next plane out of this country together with their useless dependents that we are forced to support.
Two illegal aliens who tried to rape someone are dangerous – who would have thought that? I imagine these poor “dreamers” as the liberals would say would really “good guys” just raping women that Americans wouldn’t rape.
Get these useless thugs out of our country, build a wall, deport them all.
