Theresa (Dick) Kamberalis, 90, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Wingate of Haverhill, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, William and Orise (Goudreault) Dick. Raised in Haverhill she attended St. Joseph Grammar School. Kamberalis was employed as a tester at the former Western Electric and retired from AT&T in 1987. A single mom, she raised five children on her own. She enjoyed summers at the family camp at Lake Balch in Maine and was an avid photographer.
She leaves her children, James N. Kamberalis and his wife, Susan, of Palm Coast, Fla, Nancy Cordero, of Catheys Valley, Calif., Joseph M. Kamberalis and his wife, Pamela, of Danville, N.H., Nicholas J. Kamberalis and Jennifer Dick, of Haverhill, and Terri Kamberalis, of North Andover; brother, Alvin Dick and his wife, Gladys, of Plaistow, N.H.; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; agreat great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Rita Shaw, Jeannette Merrill and Leonard Dick.
Friends and family are invited to calling hours Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial is private.
