Antoinette M. Esposito, 77, of Mineral, Virg., and previously of Haverhill; Rochester, N.Y., and Huntington Beach, Calif., passed away the afternoon of Aug, 12.
Esposito was born May 13, 1939, in Haverhill. In 1957 she graduated from St. James High School and, in 1961, married Robert M. Esposito, at St. James Church, Haverhill. Their residences spanned across several different states including New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, California, Virginia and Ontario, Canada.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rev. Robert M. Esposito; daughter, JoAnn E. Hess and her husband Wayne of Hudson, Ohio; son, Robert M. Esposito II and his wife Leslie of Ashburn, Virg.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Derek, Allison, Michael, Madeline and Ryan; and several nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise M. Papatola; sisters Rosemarie Surette, Haverhill, and Evelyn Desmarais, Providence, R.I.; brother-in-law John Aeed, Lawrence; nephew, Renee William Desmarais; and nephew and godson James E. Surette, Haverhill.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill, Friday, Aug. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services begin Saturday, 9 a.m., from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m., at St. James Church, 185 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, East Street, Plaistow, N.H. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 313 Washington Street, #310, Newton, MA 02458.
