A Haverhill man, arrested Thursday on an assault charge, is due to appear in Haverhill District Court.
Bruce Camire, 48, of 153 Franklin St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill police Thursday at 3:01 p.m. at home. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Bryan Fiscel, 39, of 602 Main St., Haverhill, was arrested Thursday, at 11:58 a.m., at his home on a charge of violating a harassment protection order.
Wilson Reyes, 24, of 2 Lawrence St., Haverhill, was taken into custody Thursday, at 1 a.m., n a warrant related to charges of felony breaking and entering in the nighttime and disturbing the peace.
