Police Nab Four from Maine on Fentanyl Drug Trafficking Charges

Four Maine residents were arrested in Haverhill Tuesday on fentanyl drug trafficking charges.

Wendy Moody, 36, of Livermore Falls; Brent Tirrell, 35, of Livermore; Melanie York, 42, and James Young-Dumont, 32, both of Wilton, were arrested on Interstate 495 northbound Tuesday between 12:04 and 12:41 p.m. Each was charged with fentanyl trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Tirrell was additionally charged with unlicensed possession of ammunition. Young-Dumont was additionally charged with possession of a class A drug.

They face arraignment in in Haverhill District Court

In other police news:

Christopher Tambone, 35, of Lowell, was arrested on Broadway, at 11:24 a.m., and charged with driving with a suspended license and suspended registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding and making an improper turn.

 

Nicholas Messina, 24, of 43 Jackson St., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:42 p.m., on Howard Street, on a warrant related to a charge of possession of a class A drug.
