Wanda Alvarez, 60, of Haverhill, passed away unexpectedly July 27, at Holy Family Hospital Merrimack Valley.
Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Feb. 14, 1956, shewas the daughter of Ismael and Maria Escalera.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Yamilka Rodriguez; son, Jesus Rios; granddaughter, Waldeliz Medero; siblings, Nicolas, Margarita, Aida, Sonia, Yolanda, Wilfredo, Mayra, Soralla and Mireya.
The funeral service, under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main S., Haverhill, is private.
