A Haverhill woman faces motor vehicle and assault charges in Haverhill District Court following her arrest by Haverhill police.
Christina Lufkin, 24, of 17 Beacon St., Haverhill, was arrested Thursday at 2:57 a.m. on Amesbury Road, route 110. She was charged with driving with a revoked license, assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and a miscellaneous equipment violation.
In other police news, Shannon Nelson, 30, of Derry, was arrested Thursday at 2:28 p.m. at 747 River St. She was charged with possession of a class B drug and will be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
