In preparation for Tattersall Farm’s participation in this year’s Essex Heritage Trails and Sails event in September, a kite-making class takes place at Haverhill Public Library Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Kite flying demonstrations will take place at the farm, 542 North Broadway, Sunday, Sept. 18. Don McCasland from Blue Hill Observatory Science Center will bring kites for sale, including kite kits. Kites Over New England club is encouraging its members to come and demonstrate kite flying and assist the public with flying kites.
