Haverhill Firefighters Seek to Raise Funds for Combat Championship

An online fundraising page has been established to help Haverhill firefighters compete in the Scott Firefighter Combat World Challenge XXV this fall.

Firefighters Joe DelGrosso, Doug Burrill, Tyler David, Graham Hart and Tim Carroll qualified as finalists during last weekend’s Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge Relay in downtown Haverhill. They are attempting to raise $6,000 to pay for expenses related to participating in the championships Oct. 24 through 29, in Montgomery, Ala.

  1. Anyone who would give one penny to this group of thieves and think it wouldn’t somehow make its way into their own pockets should have their head examined.

The incompetent mayor recently appointed William Laliberty, a known felon to the position of Deputy Chief of the HFD. Laliberty knowingly and intentionally conspired to steal over $55,000 from Haverhill taxpayers along with 29 of his fellow thieving felon fire fighter brothers. That guarantees the culture of corruption is going to continue up and down the ranks of the HFD. And as expected, the mayor will turn a blind eye to it all just as long as these thieves keep voting for him.
