Patricia E. (Casey) Thompson, 60, of Bradford, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday morning, July 13,surrounded by her family.
Thompson was born April 13, 1956, and raised in Lawrence.Daughter of the late William and Rita (Fleming) Casey, she was a 1974 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She retired from Agfa Corp. after 25 years of service. She served as president of the board of directors of the local Arc agency and, as a loyal parishioner of Sacred Hearts Parish, was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for many years.
Thompson is survived by her husband Donald E. Thompson; daughters, Casey M. Thompson of Bradford,and Erin M. (Thompson) Bertrand and her husband William; grandchildren Nora June and William Bertrand of Bradford; father-in-Law Donald W. Thompson of Haverhill; sister, Eileen (Casey) Woelfel and her husband Brian of Haverhill; brothers William J. Casey Jr. and his wife Rita of San Felipe, Mexico, and James O. Casey and his wife Ellen of Lynn; many nieces, nephews and their children; and loyal friend of many years, Kathy Owens.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Sunday, July 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services begin Monday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main S., Bradford. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Sacred Hearts Parish, 48 South Chestnut Street, Bradford, MA 01835.
