Andrea (Woronka) Enos, 75, Once Haverhill High School Librarian

Andrea (Woronka) Enos, 75, wife of Dan S. Enos, passed away Tuesday, July 12, at home in East Sandwich, surrounded by loved ones, after a battle with kidney cancer.

Born in Boston, the daughter of Andrew J. and Mary (Kolba) Woronka, Enos was raised in Manchester, N.H. She attended Walnut Hill High School in Natick, Colby Sawyer Junior College  and then Plymouth State College for her Bachelor’s degree. A devoted English teacher and librarian, Enos enjoyed most of her career as the Haverhill High School Librarian. While working full time, she went on to pursue a Master’s degree from University of New Hampshire, as well as a doctorate from Queens College, New York City. She enjoyed fishing, photography, knitting, crafts, gardening and email correspondence.

She is survived by her children, Anastasia (Stacey) Enos King and son-in-law Alexander of Madison, Conn., and Jennifer Enos Langone and son-in-law Christopher of Arnold, Md.; close family friends Nissa Hurst and her husband, Shane of Dallas, Texas, Pavel Nikitin and his wife, Elena of Seattle, Wash., and John Pullen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, Piper; and practically-grandchildren Colin, Alana, Daniel and Andrew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Friday, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Paul C. Rogers Family-Carnevale Funeral Home, 334 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service takes place Saturday, July 16,9:30 a.m., in the funeral home chapel followed by burial in Manchester, N.H.
