Methuen Man Faces Charge of Assault with Dangerous Weapon

A Methuen man, arrested in Haverhill Tuesday night on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

Nicolas Branchina, 45, of Methuen, was arrested by Haverhill Police at 10:43 p.m., Tuesday, at 31 Ashland St., Haverhill.

In other police news:

A Haverhill man, arrested Tuesday afternoon on an unlicensed driving charge, also faces additional charges related to court-issued warrants.

Tad Lucchesi, 42, of 11A Charles St., Haverhill, was arrested at 3:49 p.m., Tuesday, at 30 River St. and charged with driving with a revoked license. Police also cited warrants related to charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, driving with a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Stella Cleghorn, 34, of 14 Laurier St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 4 p.m., Tuesday, at 70 Brook St., on a warrant related to charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
