Haverhill Firefighting Museum Plans Fall Chili Cook-off

The Haverhill Firefighting Museum is holding its 10th annual “Chili Cook-off.” Saturday, Sept. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the museum, 75 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill.

Tasting and judging for prizes, including best individual-best firehouse, best restaurant/business” and a special prize for best decorated contestant space, takes place between 6 and 8 p.m., according to the museum. The event will also include food and beverages, a silent auction, a 50-50 raffle and door prizes.

General admission is $10. There is a $25 fee for “cook-off” entries. Deadline to enter is Sept.7.
