Eugene F. Woodsum, 70, Worked at Vernon Plastics

Eugene F. Woodsum, 70, of Haverhill, died Tuesday morning, June 14, at  Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.

He was born in Haverhill, Nov. 13, 1945, son of the late Ronald and Ida (Thornton) Woodsum and was educated in the Haverhill school system. For more than 15 years he was employed at Vernon Plastics, Haverhill. He enjoyed fishing and puzzles.

He was the husband of the late Maryann (Edge) Woodsum, who died in 2012, and brother of the late Bonnie Capodelupo. His survivors include a daughter, Gina Woodsum of Haverhill; two sons, Christopher Woodsum and his wife Stephanie of Bradford and Matthew Woodsum of Merrimac; brother, James Woodsum of New Hampshire, Marion Morril of Florida and Susan Haslett of Haverhill; five grandchildren, Hailey Woodsum, Kyle Woodsum, Jordan Woodsum, Jackson Woodsum and Mackenzie Simonds; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Tuesday, June 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:15 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
