A National Grid worker checks on power restoration along Salem Street.

About 800 National Grid electricity customers near Central Square, Bradford, lost power for about an hour Thursday afternoon.

According to a National Grid repair crew, the outage was caused by burned wires between two poles on Inland Street. The lines fed Rite Aid Pharmacy and the entire area had to shut off to make repairs. Power was being restored at 6 p.m. as a crew made a final check along Salem Street.
