Police Arrest Haverhill Man Second Time for Order Violation

A Haverhill man charged earlier this week with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon is due back in Haverhill District Court to face new charges.

Juan Lozada, 27, of 25 New St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill police 5:43 p.m., Tuesday, at 27 Charles St. He was charged with violation of a harassment protection order. Also, under a warrant, he was charged with an additional count of violation of a harassment protection order.

Lozada  was previously arrested Monday at home, as WHAV reported, on a warrant charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. That arrest took place at 11:34 a.m., Monday.

In other police news:

Two men, arrested by Haverhill police in separate investigations Tuesday, each face charges of assault and battery on a police officer, among others, in Haverhill District Court.

John Wilson, 25, address not listed, was arrested at 8:57 p.m., Tuesday, at Haverhill Public Library, 99 Main St. He was charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Earlier, Ismael Santiago, 28, of Lawrence, was arrested at 10:32 a.m., Tuesday, at 15 Twin Brooks Circle. He was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer.

A Haverhill woman arrested by Haverhilll police Tuesday night on drunk driving charges is due to be arraigned in district court.

Joanna Clancy, 45, of 15 Lansing Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:10 p.m., Tuesday, on Broadway. She was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.
