Bruce E. Miller, 72

bruce_millerBruce E. Miller, 72, of Haverhill, passed away May 26 at Merrimack Valley Hospice surrounded by his family.

Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Archie and Rose (Laquird) Miller. Raised and educated in Malden, he was a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1961. After high school he was in the United States Army National Guard in Massachusetts and in the Air Force National Guard in New Hampshire, honorably discharged from both. He was a member of the Amvets Post 147 in Haverhill. He was an avid Yankees fan and loved to golf. He enjoyed his cognac and cigars.

Surviving him are his daughter, Charlene M. Beebe of Roanoke, Texas; two grandchildren, Haley Marie Clark and Justin Tyler Clark; and his former wife, Kathleen R. (Bona) Bonnain. His other children include Julie Hannan, Cherie Hannan and Bruce Hannan. He was predeceased by his sister Rose McQuirk and his aunt Virginia Miller.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, June 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services are Thursday, 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, 41 John Ward Ave., Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843.
